A Clear, Studio-Led Way of Working

Working with Créé à la main is intentionally straightforward. Our process is designed to support thoughtful collaboration, clear timelines, and pieces that arrive ready to use or present. We approach each project with an understanding that events, campaigns, and client relationships leave little room for uncertainty.

From initial conversation through final delivery, our role is to reduce friction and handle the details carefully.

Beginning with Context

Every project begins with context. We take the time to understand how a piece will be used, where it will live, and what role it plays within the broader experience. Whether the work is intended for an event environment, a brand activation, or a relationship-driven gift, these details guide decisions from the start.

This early alignment allows design and material choices to feel intentional rather than decorative.

Design & Material Selection

Once the direction is clear, design and material selection move forward together. Pieces are developed with scale, finish, and longevity in mind, ensuring they feel appropriate within their setting and remain useful beyond a single moment.

All boards are sourced from North America, with additional materials selected thoughtfully based on quality, availability, and how they will age over time.

In-House Production

All work is designed, engraved, and assembled in our Connecticut studio. Keeping production in-house allows us to maintain consistency across every piece, respond thoughtfully as projects evolve, and ensure quality from the first engraving through final assembly.

This studio-led approach supports both highly curated projects and larger, multi-piece productions without sacrificing attention to detail.

Finishing & Presentation

Presentation is considered part of the work, not an afterthought. Finishes, packaging, and readiness are addressed during production so that each piece arrives complete and prepared for use or presentation.

Our goal is for pieces to integrate seamlessly into events or handoffs, without requiring additional coordination.

Timelines & Communication

Clear communication and dependable timelines are central to how we work. We collaborate closely with planners, agencies, and professionals throughout the process, providing clarity at each stage and ensuring expectations are aligned.

This structure allows our clients to focus on execution and relationships, knowing the details are being handled with care.
