These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Créé à la main website and any engagement with our studio. By contacting us, requesting work, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

Our Work

Créé à la main is a design and engraving studio creating custom and small-batch work. Much of what we do is bespoke in nature, which means timelines, materials, and outcomes may vary based on the scope of each project.

All work is approached thoughtfully and produced with care, but handmade and custom processes inherently involve variation.

Project Engagements

Project details, timelines, and scope are discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of work. Any estimates or timelines provided are based on the information available at the time and may be adjusted as projects evolve.

Once design concepts or proofs are approved, responsibility for accuracy transfers to the client. Changes requested after approval may affect timelines and costs.

Payments & Deposits

For custom projects, a deposit or full payment may be required prior to production. Payment terms will be communicated clearly during the project discussion phase.

Due to the custom nature of our work, deposits and payments are generally non-refundable once production has begun.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all designs, concepts, drawings, and original creative work produced by Créé à la main remain our intellectual property. Clients are granted the right to use finished pieces for their intended purpose.

We reserve the right to photograph completed work for portfolio, website, or promotional use unless confidentiality has been requested in advance.

Use of the Website

All content on this website, including text, images, and design elements, is the property of Créé à la main and may not be reproduced or used without permission.

The website is provided for informational purposes only and may be updated or modified at any time.

Limitation of Liability

While we take great care in our work, Créé à la main is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or our services.

Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles.
